Life for me, was like playing Beethoven's Fifth, with fingernails on a blackboard.

Julien Janvier ~ Jeux d'enfants
The rules of the game hadn't changed.
What was called teasing as kids might now be called perversion.
And what is perversion?
It's a matter of taste, like Chinese food.
You like it, or you don't.
Only if you're Chinese, you've got no choice.

Julien Janvier ~ Jeux d'enfants
Friends are like spectacles.
They make you look smart, but then they get scratched and start to bore you.
Luckily, sometimes, you get super cool ones.
Like me! I've got Sophie!

Julien Janvier ~ Jeux d'enfants
I like Jacks, and Monopoly - but only when I'm the banker.
I love marbles, I always win.
Snake and ladders is dumb.
But still less dumber than checkers, Rubik's cube and puzzle blocks.
Riddles, they aren't my thing.
Simon says, kickball, hopscotch - they're okay.
Tag's all right, but that's about it.
But there's one game you must never play.
And I mean never!
Even if your best friend wants you to.
And that's burying yourself in a block of cement!

Ilsa: But what about us?
Rick: We'll always have Paris.

Casablanca
If that plane leaves the ground and you're not with him, you'll regret it.
Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life.

Rick ~ Casablanca
Might as well be frank, monsieur. It would take a miracle to get you out of Casablanca, and the Germans have outlawed miracles.

Ferrari ~ Casablanca
I stick my neck out for nobody.

Rick ~ Casablanca
I'm the only cause I'm interested in.

Rick ~ Casablanca
Yvonne: Where were you last night?
Rick: That's so long ago, I don't remember.
Yvonne: Will I see you tonight?
Rick: I never make plans that far ahead.

Casablanca
Ugarte: You despise me, don't you?
Rick: If I gave you any thought I probably would.

Casablanca
Tell me, who was it you left me for? Was it Laszlo, or were there others in between? Or... aren't you the kind that tells?

Rick to Ilsa ~ Casablanca
Renault: In 1935, you ran guns to Ethiopia. In 1936, you fought in Spain, on the Loyalist side.
Rick: I got well paid for it on both occasions.
Renault: The winning side would have paid you much better.

Casablanca
Berger: We read five times that you were killed, in five different places.
Laszlo: As you can see, it was true every single time.

Casablanca
You know, Rick, I have many a friend in Casablanca, but somehow, just because you despise me, you are the only one I trust.

Ugarte ~ Casablanca
Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine.

Rick ~ Casablanca
Rick: You know what I want to hear.
Sam: No, I don't.
Rick: You played it for her, you can play it for me.
Sam: Well, I don't think I can remember...
Rick: If she can stand it, I can! Play it!

Casablanca
Ricky, I'm going to miss you. Apparently you're the only one in Casablanca with less scruples than I.
