Life for me, was like playing Beethoven's Fifth, with fingernails on a blackboard.

Julien Janvier ~ Jeux d'enfants
The rules of the game hadn't changed.
What was called teasing as kids might now be called perversion.
And what is perversion?
It's a matter of taste, like Chinese food.
You like it, or you don't.
Only if you're Chinese, you've got no choice.

Julien Janvier ~ Jeux d'enfants
Friends are like spectacles.
They make you look smart, but then they get scratched and start to bore you.
Luckily, sometimes, you get super cool ones.
Like me! I've got Sophie!

Julien Janvier ~ Jeux d'enfants
I like Jacks, and Monopoly - but only when I'm the banker.
I love marbles, I always win.
Snake and ladders is dumb.
But still less dumber than checkers, Rubik's cube and puzzle blocks.
Riddles, they aren't my thing.
Simon says, kickball, hopscotch - they're okay.
Tag's all right, but that's about it.
But there's one game you must never play.
And I mean never!
Even if your best friend wants you to.
And that's burying yourself in a block of cement!

monologue

It will all turn into ash someday, cigarettes, me, and that town
Beginnings are always from a single tiny ember
Reflected on the rectangular screen, is a boy lamenting at the sky
If you press the next button, stars falling from the night sky; a kiss scene... kiss scene

Conventional everyday comes and greets me every morning
Trade in polite words with an appropriate attitude
A yearning for someday remains eternally as a yearning
If I write today’s events on paper, it seems it can be settled in around 2 lines

Even if I shout, there’s no such thing as a place for it to resound
Only to surpass, today too, after all, just to pass through
Footprints are buried and covered underneath others
Because I wanted some sense of meaning, I crash into the shoulder and spit out

Tightening my fists, I’m fighting
If it’s pain, the greater the better
Even I will be acknowledged, by the man in front of my eyes
It’s all adding up, I myself, as I am, now

What are you searching for? A place where you can feel at ease?
What are you seeking? Is it somebody’s approval?
What are the things you’ve achieved? A second of supremacy?
What have you lost? While on your quest for answers

Even if I shout, there’s no such thing as a place for it to resound
Only to surpass, today too, after all, just to pass through
Footprints are buried and covered underneath others
Because I wanted some sense of meaning, I grab the hand and steal a kiss

With gentle words, I’m embracing
If it’s power, the greater the better
Even I will be acknowledged, by the woman in front of my eyes
It’s all adding up, I myself, as I am, now

Tightening my fists, I’m fighting

With gentle words, I’m embracing

Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it.
Impossible is not a fact.
It's an opinion.
Impossible is not a declaration.
It's a dare.
Impossible is potential.
Impossible is temporary.
Impossible is Nothing!
